Extra Curricular activities – BTM

One-on-One Support

At Bais Toras Menachem, we believe that every student needs a mentor to connect with on a personal level. During the students stay at BTM, they are provided with abundant support, guidance and care. We hope that they will make long lasting connections with the staff. Shluchim are on staff and available as coaches and mentors, to learn one on one with the students.  The Shluchim also arrange and coordinate many of the extracurricular activities such as Shabbosim at local Chabad centers, Mivtzas, Farbrengens, and trips.

Quality of life

At Bais Toras Menachem we believe that the best way for a student to focus on their personal growth is to remove all other worries from their lives. At our campus, we make sure that our students lack nothing. From a fully stocked kitchen equipped for self- service style breakfast, hot lunches provided a few days a week, hot nutritious suppers daily, clean and spacious living quarters, the students are set up for success.  More subtle amenities include filtered WiFi and several lounges for study. Big box Retailers such as Ralphs, CVS and Trader Joe’s are all just a short stroll from our dorm. A park and public library are just a short walk away.

We also believe it is important for one to expand their horizons and experiences. Therefore we take full advantage of our Los Angeles location to provide amenities such as bi-monthly morning hikes in the world famous hills of the city, as well as organized trips to many scenic and wholesome sites the city has to offer such as;The Museum of Tolerance, S. Monica Pier, Griffith Observatory, Hollywood Boulevard,  La Brea Tar Pits, Farmers Market, The Grove, CityWalk, Venice Canals and The Memorial Coliseum.
